How do I change the ISO setting on my Canon PowerShot Digital Camera 8 mp?
I have never been able to take good night pictures of, the moon for example, and I read that I need to change the ISO to 400. I looked at my Camera to try and figure it out but I don’t really think I did anything. Help would be appreciated!

While there are times you need to increase the ISO of your cameras sensor, taking a shot of the moon is NOT one of those times.
The correct exposure when shooting the moon, is the same as when you take pictures of your friends in bright sun or 1/ISO @ f/16. I think had you taken a minute or two to just think about it you will have discovered that the exact same sun lights the earth as does the moon … in fact, because there is no atmosphere on the moon and the amount of diffusion caused by dust and water vapor in the earths atmosphere is lower at night since the night air is much cooler and that effects the total volume of those substances in the air, so you may find that to get more detail in the moon, you will want to stop down one half to a full stop more than you would during the day.
Whether your camera can be manually adjusted or not, we cannot know since you neglected to tell us what model number it is. Some P&S cameras allow the user to control the exposure, most do not, so any success of shooting the moon may not happen for you.
