My pen drive stopped working.?
I have a Jetflash 2GB pen drive (Transcend). It was working fine for one month till it suddenly stopped working. When I plug it into the USB port, the led light does not light up. I tried it on many computers. Is there anything I can do without getting it replaced?
If led light does not light up then your in problem you must have to replace it . It happens some time when you drop it or bcoz of voltage problem usb port get high volt power supply and it affect flash drive .

1}check that usb 2.0 drivers are properly working from :=
my computer property > Hardware > Device Manager > universal serial port controllers
2 } scan hardware from :=
my computer property > Hardware > Device Manager > universal serial port controllers ( right click > search for new Hardware changes )
3} try to access it from command prompt using :=
if ur last drive is ” e “(ur cd rom or hard disk partition ) then ” f ” is ur pen drive
then go to
start > accessories > command prompt
and type ” f: ” if it is open then try ” dir ” command to see all ur files
