which screen is best for a dell laptop?

like is it worth spending an extra 125 for an upgraded screen
The LED LCD would be best because LEDs will probably never burn out for as long as you keep the laptop. But the extra 75 bucks would be better spent on an extended warranty (you should always get a warranty for laptops), then the first option is the best deal. As for the second option, a 1440×900 resolution on a small 15.4 inch screen is a bit excessive. 1280×800 looks sharp already.
