Which is the best amateur telescope to buy? ?

I still don’t know for sure which is better, a reflector or a refractor. I am looking to buy a telescope, I live in israel. My budget won’t exceed 1100 NIS, I am looking for a GREAT telescope that can let me see other galaxies, such as andromeda and that is able to reach Neptune. I don’t know which telescope is the best, due to the lack of reviews. Please provide me with sources and telescope NAMES, I would prefer MEADE. I dont want the aperture to be less than 70mm and I want the zoom to be less than 200x. or even 150x.
If possible, can anyone show me pictures of amateur telescope images? I want to know what to expect.

I’d highly recommend a Meade or Orion reflector, probably a Dobsonian type.
150 – 200 magnification is quite a bit, and you’ll find that you’ll rarely use that much. When viewing extended objects, like galaxies and nebulae, you’ll almost certainly use much lower power. Contrary to popular belief, high magnification is not the primary purpose of an astronomical telescope. The primary objective is collecting as much light as possible so that you may view dimmer objects.

Edit: Oops! I misread your comment on magnification. You wanted LESS than 150-200X. In that case, I think the Orion 150mm reflector is a perfect match for you.
