What is important in digi camera.. Mega Pixel or Optical zoom…what should be given priority while buying…?
Go for the megapixels over the optical zoom. Do you plan to do a lot of long-range, zoom photos? You may want to opt for a higher MP to go along with the zoom in that case. Vibration reduction would be a plus as well for those types of photos. Higher optical zoom cameras are bigger, mind you and heavier to lug around.
If you’re just the run of the mill photog and want a decent shot, choose 4 MP and up with a lot of scene options to help you along. Keep it simple for yourself.
