It’s 20$, should I buy it?
That depends on what you want to use it for. That unit is a VGA recorder, it will not record in a resolution anywhere near that of a mini-DV or other standard digital camcorders. You will get pictures that are suitable for the web, or for a computer screen, but if you want to watch on a regular television, you may be very disappointed. I would not use a unit like that for any important documentation like a wedding or graduation, I would want a full resolution digital video.
But if all you want to do is make some “fun” video to watch on the web or your monitor, and you are not concerned with sharp video quality, then that is a good unit for the price
